At the UNC Center for European Studies (CES), we are committed to treating your information with respect. We comply with the guidelines outlined in the UNC Privacy Statement, as well as the Family Educational Right and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law protecting the privacy of student education records. This privacy statement applies to CES-sponsored initiatives including MEET EU (Getting to Know Europe-funded activities).
Mailing List
For our digital newsletter the Eurofile, we use Mailchimp to main our mailing list, and to send subscribers updates from CES twice a month. Our mailing list is GDPR-compliant. Please refer to Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy for more details on how they protect information entered into their website. You can find information specific to subscribers under Section 3, Privacy for Contacts.
Mailchimp uses technologies such as cookies and web beacons to track information such as if emails are delivered, who opens an email, and who clicks on which links in an email. You can find more information on how to control cookies on the Mailchimp Cookies page under the section “How can I control cookies?”
We use this information only to make sure we are providing relevant information, and to report to our grant providers on how well we are serving our publics.
