April 21, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join our conversation with the Center and panelists who work in local community initiatives focused on immigration. Please RSVP by 11am on April 21!

Attend this virtual session to learn about local refugee integration initiatives and the creative ways in which grassroots organizations assist these populations. Come to better understand how the refugees enrich our communities and what can be done to help them now and moving forward. Representatives from these organizations can take your questions and explain how to get involved.

Our panelists include:

  • Meagan Clawar
    • Program Manager, Refugee Community Partnership
  • Lucía Mock Muñoz de Luna
    • PhD Student, UNC School of Education
  • Kennedy Parkins
    • Linking Immigrants to New Communities (LINC), a UNC Campus Y organization

This event is co-sponsored by the Exodus Institute.
