The Tournees Film Festival – Now Showing: Gricris

Presented by The Dept. of Romance Languages and sponsored by the Dept. of Asian Studies and yours truly, The Tournees Film Festival are showing new French films on campus that are free and open to the public! Films are presented in French with English subtitles. Doors open at 6:30 PM sharp! Hope to see you there!
Gricris: Souleymane – nicknamed “Gricris” – dazzles the crowd with his spectacular dance moves. His adoring fans don’t seem to mind this lithe man’s paralyzed leg, particularly Mim, a prostitute who recognizes a kindred soul in this exuberant but marginalized dancer.
