The Next Member State: Croatia’s Path to the European Union (Video Conference)

Join us in the new year for another installment of our videoconferencing series that brings together participants at several remote sites to discuss Europe-related issues. In this conversation, we will use Croatia’s impending accession to the EU as a starting point for a discussion of the history and politics in the Southern Balkans, the Europeanization process, and enlargement. Speakers include Robert Hayden (University of Pittsburgh), Natasa Besirevic (University of Zagreb), Laura Hastings (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and other experts throughout the US. Audiences at all sites are encouraged to participate.
