The UNC-CH Center for European Studies, home base of the TransAtlantic Masters (TAM) Program, was recently awarded a four-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support our work on Western Europe. We have thus maintained our status as a National Resource Center for Western Europe and maintained our Foreign Language Area Studies Awards which enable American undergraduate and graduate students to cultivate foreign-language skills.
