At noon on 11/7 – Dr. Paola Colombo, European Commission, Head of Co-ordination Unit of the Bureau of Policy Advisors, will join us and deliver a talk called “The US, the EU and Precaution: Management of Risk in a Complex World.” We are pleased to welcome Dr. Colombo back to UNC-CH. Last year she was one of our Visiting Fellows from the EU Commission.
At 3pm on 11/7 – Dr. David Armitage will join us from the US Department of State and give a lecture entitled “Borders, Boundaries, and Bandwidth: Confronting Hybrid Warfare and Illiberal Politics in an Age of Extremism.” Dr. David Armitage is head of European Regional Analysis at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR).
Both events will take place on the fourth floor of the FedEx Global Education Center.
