Join us for a free film screening, part of Europe Week 2020! A 2018 Icelandic-Ukrainian comedy-drama film, Woman at War focuses on themes of climate change, gender, and more. Halla is a 50-year-old environmental activist who opposes the actions of lucrative industries in Iceland. As she targets the local aluminum industry, her life changes in the blink of an eye when she hears she has been granted permission to adopt a girl from Ukraine.
