Transatlantic Relations After the Trump Administration
January 27, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
H.E. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy (2014-2019), and Rector, College of Europe, will discuss the consequences of the Trump administration’s approach to alliances and diplomatic relationships for the incoming administration and the future of transatlantic relations more broadly. Can the relationship be restored to its earlier, more taken-for-granted status? If so, would that be desirable? How have Europe’s foreign relations changed as a result of the Trump administration’s retreat from overseas partnerships?
This virtual event is organized by the European Union Studies Center at the CUNY Graduate Center. For the most updated information and to RSVP, visit their web event page.
