Le Grand Méchant Renard et autres contes | Tournées Film Festival

Directors Renner and Imbert adapt Renner’s graphic novel into a delightful triptych of interlocking stories, with a style that harkens back to classic Looney Tunes shorts and slapstick two-reelers. But underneath the gags, the three stories offer a beautiful portrayal of family and the anxieties of modern life.
This screening is part of the Tournées Film Festival, organized by the UNC Department of Romance Studies in collaboration with the UNC Departments of Art and Art History and Comparative Literature, and the UNC Center for European Studies. The screening is free and open to the public, with English subtitles.
