The US and a Geopolitical Europe: Transatlantic Relations in an Era of Global Conflicts

The Virginia Tech Center for European Union, Transatlantic, and Trans-European Space Studie is very excited to have His Excellency Stavros Lambrinidis, EU ambassador to the US, delivering the 2022 annual Jean Monnet Lecture. “The US and a Geopolitical Europe: Transatlantic Relations in an Era of Global Conflicts” will be hosted as a free Zoom webinar, April 25th at 4:00.

HE Stavros Lambrinidis is the Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, as of March 1, 2019. Previously, he served as the European Union Special Representative for Human Rights, Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece, and Member of the European Parliament. He received a B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College and a J.D. degree from Yale Law School. You may follow him on Twitter @EUAmbUS.
