THE TOURNEES FILM FESTIVAL – NOW SHOWING: Les Contes de la nuit (Tales of the Night)

Presented by The Dept. of Romance Studies and sponsored by the Dept. of Asian Studies and yours truly, The Tournees Film Festival are showing new French films on campus that are free and open to the public! Films are presented in French with English subtitles. Doors open at 6:00 PM sharp! Hope to see you there!

Les Contes de la nuit (Tales of the Night): This collection of six fairy tales is rendered in a “shadow puppet style,” with silhouetted characters set against gorgeously colored backgrounds representing Africa, the Caribbean, medieval Europe, an Aztec kingdom, Tibet—and the Land of the Dead.
