The Processes of Thought in George Kennan’s Imagining of Russia (Lecture)

Prof. Frank Costigliola (University of Connecticut) specializes in US foreign relations and 20th century US history. He is currently editing the diaries of George F. Kennan, who is best known as the “father of containment.”

“The U.S. in World Affairs: The Cold War and Beyond” lecture series is organized by the Department of History, in co-operation with the Center for European Studies and the Center for Slavic, Eurasian & Eastern European Studies at UNC.
