Introduction to LAC Training Workshop

This workshop is strongly recommended for graduate students who wish to apply for
upcoming LAC instructional positions. Participants will:

- Become familiar with the philosophy, objectives, and characteristics of Cultures and Languages Across the Curriculum;
- Learn about UNC-Chapel Hill’s LAC program and see examples of syllabi and materials from past courses;
- Consider effective instructional strategies for the language-based content classroom;
- Design a brief LAC lesson plan, in collaboration with fellow participants.
