Happy Hour: Is Bernie (Really) a Socialist? European Social Democracy’s Impact on American Politics

Socialism  used to be a dirty word in American Politics, but has Bernie changed the game? Join the Center for European Studies Director John D. Stephens, an expert on European Welfare states, for a happy hour  discussion on the similarities and differences between “European socialism”, Bernie Sander’s unique American variant of social democracy, and the impact of his campaign on American perceptions of socialism.
