April 9, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join us for a Happy Hour at the Ackland which will feature a special presentation of a video poem on European textiles from Professor Susan Harbage Page. The event will showcase modern and contemporary art from multiple EU member states, and will celebrate shared artistic traditions. Drinks and food will be provided as an opportunity to network with students, community members and CES staff and affiliated faculty interested in contemporary Europe and European art. The event will feature a screening of Tessitura/Weave, a video poem by Professor Susan Harbage Page addressing ideas of gender and community. The event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP.
This event is part of Europe Week 2019!
