George W. Bush & Saddam Hussein: Why Did the US Go to War Against Iraq in March 2003? (Lecture)

Prof. Melvyn Leffler (University of Virginia) is currently working on a book about George W. Bush and American foreign policy and writes essays on the cold war, political economy, and national security.

“The U.S. in World Affairs: The Cold War and Beyond” lecture series is organized by the Department of History, in co-operation with the Center for European Studies and the Center for Slavic, Eurasian & Eastern European Studies at UNC.
