Contest: Europe Week 2020

March 15, 2020

As a part of the Center for European Studies’ 5th annual Europe Week celebration, we are accepting submissions for our “Europe Today” Creative Contest. Deadline to submit: March 15, 2020.

Europe is a multi-faceted continent: many cultures, languages, and political views exist, but yet there are many commonalities as well. We want to showcase Europe’s differences, similarities, and other unique characteristics through your creative works.

Congratulations to our three winners and three runners up! Read their submissions on our Medium blog.

More information on this year’s contest:

Applicants must respond to the following prompt:
What is Europe today? In other words: What do you think of when you think of Europe? Show us in a creative way what Europe means to you – through words, pictures, a collage, a piece of art – whatever medium you choose!

Submissions must be submitted digitally. They can be: essays, poems, photographs, videos, or graphic design, etc.

Participants will by notified by March if their submission won. All participants are invited to our Europe Week closing reception on April 2.
