Multilevel Governance, Decentralization, Regionalism

Amsterdam, June 8−9, 2016

Sponsored by the Chair in Multilevel Governance at the VU Amsterdam and the EU Center for Excellence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Doctoral students whose research is related to multilevel governance, decentralization, subnational governance, and regionalism in Europe, Latin America, and beyond, are encouraged to apply for up to twelve fellowships to present their dissertation proposal or a paper on their dissertation research. The fellowships will cover economy travel expenses (up to €900), local accommodation, and meals.

To apply, please send by March 15, 2016:

  • A one-page outline of your dissertation
  • brief or full CV
  • a letter of recommendation emailed directly by your dissertation advisor with your name in the subject heading.

Applicants will be informed by March 30, 2016. Participants will then be invited to submit a chapter, paper, or outline (flexible length: 2,000 to 10,000 words) related to their dissertation by May 31, 2016.
