The TAM Alumni External Advisory Board members held their inaugural meetings on March 28 and 29th at UNC-CH. This small group of program graduates will undertake a number of exciting initiatives and serve to strengthen TAM’s alumni network. The Board will meet in Chapel Hill each spring in conjunction with the annual TAM alumni panel. TAM extends sincere thanks to the Board for its important work and service.
TAM graduates play a crucial role in the success of the program. They advise students and recent graduates about professional opportunities and, in some cases, are able to offer internships which can lead to jobs. They answer questions about their experiences in the program, and they organize alumni events. Alumni also host TAM groups at site visits in DC and New York. And now they are helping to shape the program’s future. Satellite TAM Alumni Boards are also coming together in Berlin and London. Very exciting!
