A Global Perspective on the European Crisis” is a Chapel Hill conference organized into two keynote speeches, five panels, and a concluding round-table discussion. The first keynote presentation will consider Europe’s problems in the light of collective action theory. The second will discuss whether Europe is becoming an economically and politically destabilizing factor. Scholars will speak to a range of issues, always with an eye on positioning discussion of Europe’s economic and political situation in the context of relations to non-European nations and to international organizations.

Friday, Sept 19 | 4 – 5:30 pm | Keynote 2: Paolo Pasimeni of the European Commission on assessing the Europe 2020 strategy
